Jacob Daniels

Hailing from the heart of Central New Jersey, Jacob is an acoustic musician whose soulful performances and heartfelt songwriting have been captivating audiences for over a decade. Blending elements of folk music, Americana, rock & roll, and vintage rhythm & blues, Jacob composes songs that are personal, yet anthemic and resonate across all generations and demographics.

Raised by musicians, his mother taught him how to play guitar by introducing him to the political folk music scene of the 1960's. Jacob watched the Woodstock documentary, saw a then-unknown Richie Havens open the show, go from a nobody to eventually captivating the audience. Jacob said, "I want to do that!" and made it his career. You'll see some of these influences in his songwriting and performances today.

His father, a trumpet player by trade, his sister, a concert flautist, and his uncle, a songwriter for Disney, are all heavy influences on his musical career. You can catch his father, David, on Jacob's single "The Old Man".

Known for his distinct gravely voice and impressive rhythm guitar work, Jacob Daniels has become a familiar and respected name in the music scene. For the past decade, he's been performing at local venues, festivals, private events, and everything in between, from the awe-inspiring mountains of Colorado, 7,700' above sea level to the busy honky-tonks in Nashville, and back again to the beautiful, sandy beaches of the Jersey Shore. Whether playing original songs or reimagined acoustic covers, Jacob brings stories to life, connecting deeply with listeners of all backgrounds.

Jacob also performs in the well-established acoustic duo "Jake & Dan", with his lead guitarist, Dan Neary.

When not performing, Jacob is often writing, recording, or collaborating with fellow artists in the vibrant NJ music community.

You can catch Jacob performing all around the state of New Jersey, and currently has a residency at Spicy Cantina in Seaside Heights on Wednesdays until September 16, 2026.
